Fabryka Papieru i Tektury BESKIDY sp. z o.o.based in Wadowice is a manufacturer of hygienic papers for use in industrial, business and household applications. In our business, we pay special attention to the efficient use of energy, thus reducing our environmental impact.
Our energy policy established under the Energy Management System is a part of the company's long-term strategy aimed at maximizing energy efficiency.

Fabryka Papieru i Tektury BESKIDY sp. z o.o. achieves its energy and environmental goals through:

  • cooperation with suppliers who ensure the reliability, robustness and energy efficiency of their products and services,
  • ensuring the availability of information on the achieved energy result as well as quality, environmental and energy objectives within the organization,
  • providing resources and means necessary to achieve the assumed goals, sustainable use of resources and systematic improvement of environmental burden parameters caused by production activities,
  • promoting safe, pro-environmental and pro-efficiency attitudes and behavior among employees through continuous improvement of their skills and qualifications,
  • involving all employees in the implementation of the requirements of the Energy Management System in accordance with their duties, competences and responsibilities,

INFORMATION ON RADIOLOGICAL PROTECTION



The company has Measurex 2002 and Measurex Compact System isotope grammage meters, containing radioactive sources Kr-85; 3 pieces with a total activity of 31.45 GBq. The sources occur in closed form and in normal operation there is no possibility of substance being released into the environment. The devices are installed on measurement frames in a closed and monitored production hall. In addition, the plant is located in a separate restricted area. Therefore, it does not pose a threat to the general population. In addition, the devices all the requirements of the “Atomic Law Act" and are under the control of the Radiation Protection Inspector.
