The proximity of the Lower Skawa River Valley, in particular, opens our eyes to the beauty and fragility of our natural environment. That's why we strive to make Fabryka Papieru i Tektury BESKIDY Sp. z o.o. (BESKIDY Paper and Cardboard Factory) environmentally friendly!

We pursue this goal at every stage of production, starting with the proper training of all our employees, through optimizing the consumption of raw materials, to investments to make our factory even more environmentally friendly. The raw materials we use in the production of paper and cardboard are recyclable. In order to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, each year we process tens of thousands of tonnes of materials collected from many companies. We are upgrading production techniques to keep our plant's water and energy consumption as low as possible and to reduce pollutant emissions. We place great emphasis on fulfilling the objectives of the highest production standards related to ecology.

We meet the requirements of the most important arrangements in this area such as the “Best Available Techniques (BAT) Reference Document for the Production of Pulp, Paper, and Board" and the "Best Available Techniques (BAT) Reference Document for General Monitoring Principles."

We are also involved in the recycling of many types of materials. These include raw materials containing paper and cardboard.

We are one of the largest recyclers of Tetra Pak type multi-material liquid food packaging in Poland. While recovering large amounts of waste, we ensure that it does not pollute the environment and that it is repeatedly utilized. We do all this in order to ensure the safety of future generations.
